да да даism

“I speak only of myself since I do not wish to convince, I have no right to drag others into my river, I oblige no one to follow me and everybody practices his art in his own way.”

– Tristan Tzara “Dada Manifesto 1918”
Tristan Tzara

I feel sorry for kids now a days. There heads are filled with useless stuff, telling them what they need to feel better about themselves. If you have this or that you will feel happier, they will feel more confident. You always need latest gadgets, what never stop updating. You need latest trend close and shoes again changing so quick you cant take a breath in between. What has happened with spending all day in garden, making your own latest trend and maybe you’re that much cooler if you have good, old Noki phone.
To express myself I used Dada approach to it. I used old magazines to cut out all bling bling and gadgets stuff. I used empty Chernobyl playground on background as sadly playgrounds get replaced by computer games and social networking site.

If you do like Dada and photomontages/ collages   look in to Hannah Hoch and Alexander Rodchenko work.

“Dada is like your hopes: nothing
like your paradise: nothing
like your idols: nothing
like your heroes: nothing
like your artists: nothing
like your religions: nothing”
Francis Picabia
