Hi there, my name is Linda. I am currently a student at KCC (Kensington and Chelsea college) studying photography BTEC level 3. This blog was setup as part of my very first assignment in order to publish my work.
I am originally from Riga (Latvia) but have now lived in London for the past 9 years. I’m still not used to the British weather, but nevertheless I call it my home now. I am new to photography, this is probably only my 2nd year in which I’ve owned my SLR. This means I’m still learning and discovering new concepts every day.
I love travelling and my photos often taken place in new countries. I particularly enjoy discovering new cultures, meeting new people and will often find myself diverging from the typical tourist track in order to seek true adventures! I am a big thrill seeker, from cage diving with a great white shark, to bungee jumping off the tallest bridge in the world, to scuba diving inside shipwrecks, right up to riding an ostrich on its back!
When travelling closer to home, I lean towards summer breaks in the mediterranean sea. I have acquired a taste for sailing and have now obtained a full skipper license. So my recent holidays are now sailing adventures with friends. As we charter our boat for the duration of the holiday, we stock up on food, supplies and of course alcohol and we set sail on the numerous islands on which we can explore.
Beside travelling, I also enjoy spending time with animals. I am a volunteer for the guide dogs charity, taking care of the dogs when needed. One day I hope to have my own dog (when I have a big house :)).
Please keep visiting this site on a regular basis as I will be posting all my photography coursework and my adventures. Hopefully you will find it interesting, but above all feel free to drop any comments you may have and I’ll get back to you as soon as i can…
I hope you will enjoy my photos.
Ps. you’re wondering whats with the fox title, my last name in Latvian means little fox and I like it 🙂
